Burglary Insurance – Scope of Cover

The risk covered under this insurance is defined as theft involving forcible and violent entry into or exit from the insured premises.

Exclusions

This policy does not cover:

• Loss caused by the dishonesty of employees or members of the insured’s household
• Loss arising from entry using a key (whether original, duplicate, or skeleton)
• Loss obtained through deception or trickery

Additional Coverage

• Damage to property during or because of attempted theft is covered

Optional Extensions (Subject to Additional Premium)

• Larceny Cover – Protection against theft not involving forcible entry
• Hold-Up Cover – Theft involving threat or use of violence
